Feditec’s software development methodology has been evolved through learning process and continuous improvement. It provides a checklist of necessary tasks and techniques for performing those tasks consistently.
|
| Project Planning |
Feditec always perform a brief preliminary study to find out the Scope of work on macro level. After the knowing that project plan is developed. Planning the various activities like design phase, development phase, and testing and then implementation phase. Estimates of resources and schedules are built, based on the project scope. The resource allocation is reviewed by the senior management and approved.
|
| Requirement Management |
In the requirement assessment phase, the requirements for a software product are gathered and documented, in the form of SRS. Whenever requirements changes, project plans, deliverables, and activities are also shifted with mutual agreements with the client through Software Configuration Management procedures.
|
| Project Tracking |
For tracking purpose, Feditec uses Microsoft Project and its own project-tracking techniques, which provide our project managers the ability to monitor the performance of team, maintain schedule. Project management ensures that the project maintains detailed management of project tasking and provides the tools that are necessary for ensuring appropriate management decisions.
|
| Software Quality Assurance |
SQA division keeps strict vigilance that all standards are being met throughout the development life cycle. Activities of QA division are independent of the development division. The CTO and QA Manager periodically reviews SQA activities.
QA division is responsible for identification all the bugs in the software. Tester runs the application once software is ready for testing. Any bugs found are reported to development team. All kinds of bugs are tracked and documented, and a test report is prepared. This report is submitted to Team Leader for modifying the source code. This procedure is repeated until all program functions are free of defects.
